Still life by Rosie
Rosie is in an after-school art class, sponsored by the PTA. Here's a lovely floral arrangement she painted in yesterday's class, possibly with Tempera paints? Those were always my elementary-school art teacher's favorite...
The art teacher commented that it looked like Japanese art. She said she did not know Rosie's other grandma came from Japan. She thought you should give a copy to the other grandma. She thought Rosie had a gift. It is in the genes--she said. Also, liked Rosie's choice of a black background.
Beautiful work. Looks like something I'd see at our local art fair, art by professional artists. She's got a gift.
