I'm a little disappointed in the strawberries, as some of the fruits
are barely past green and are going brown. Any suggestions?

Suggestions for what to do with the greens or what to do about the strawberries? I've pretty much given up on the idea of having any fresh strawberries this year. They're either really crappy or really expensive or both.
Oh, Monkey does know how to cook his greens. No worries there. :-)
I'm not sure what I could have done to keep the strawberries going? More/less water, more/less fertilizer, more/less insecticide? The leaves look fine, it's just the little stalks that were starting to grow fruit are all brown and dead-looking.
