Yay! Wreke and zee kids. Nice to see you all getting together. (from what i can see of mizz wreke there...she's "hiding" behind her kids...i do this in photos all the time now)
ReplyDeleteOur Pakistani neighbors gave us two raspberry bushes before they moved. Any special attention you're supposed to give them? I'm the grim reaper of plants. I just look at a plant and it pulls its own roots up out of the ground.
Our raspberries were doing great until an overzealous yard worker tore them out. Grrrr; so fired. About 1/3 of them have grown back, and I can just give this advice while they're growing: water them regularly, and weed/mulch around them so they don't get crowded out.
ReplyDeleteI need to follow that advice! It may take a year until they fruit if they're young/recently cut back.
Too bad about the berries. Your dad fired those landscapers and now has people who charge 1/3 less.
