This photo has three of them in it. One translucent one right next to Rosie's head, one solid one over her bed, and one smaller, faded one on the wall near the princess poster. Maybe there is something to her sometimes-malevolent, imaginary "friend" Ghostie.
Okay, I'm getting chills.
She usually only talks about him after she's been spending a lot of time alone in her room...
Well now. That blue one over the bed looks like one of their defined "spirit orbs" at that site. Chills indeed.
ReplyDeletegreeeeaaaat. i'm up at 2:30 a.m. rocking a baby back to sleep in the dark. and, now you've freaked me out. who's going to rock me back to sleep?
ReplyDeletehold me, mommy.
Rosie told me that "ghostie" was not there anymore. She told me ghostie was in my house in a book.
ReplyDeleteWhat is with the Catholic school girl jumper? Just kiddin I know I bought it for her. Speaking of Catholic maybe we need a priest to get rid of the orbs...;-)

ReplyDeleteThere's a fourth one, too. Very faint, by the curtain in the corner by the bed.
ReplyDeleteDid you buy the house from the original owner or was there a family that died there?
ReplyDeleteIs ghostie reproducing?
It looks like she has a protector spirit. Very cool for her!
ReplyDeleteSorry about that, Dee. I actually had another blog where I was tracking some of the weirder thumps in the night over here.
ReplyDeleteFolks have suggested that I do a house history to find if there were any deaths here. I think we are the third owners of the house.
Venessa, Ghostie may be a protector spirit, but he gives really poor advice. Usually, if Rosie disobeys or acts out at daycare, she'll tell us that Ghostie told her to do it. We've been telling her not to listen to him or at least think before she acts.
oh geesh, I should not have read this post. I won't be able to sleep now. My oldest daughter had an imaginary friend and one day when I asked where he lived, she said: in our house before it burned down.
ReplyDeleteaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!

ps
Is Ghostie also responsible for not allowing me to comment?
Creeeepy.
ReplyDeleteI was very happy when we moved into our very old house that we don't have any housemates. :)
Em's imaginary friend (Colors the cat) is sometimes-malevolent as well, if that makes you feel any better.
Hey doll:
ReplyDeleteAs a avid watcher of "Ghosthunters" on the sci fi channel.. There are a couple of things that could explain the orbs.. usually it's dust flying around.. or little masses of energy. Not necessarily ghosties..
